Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales / Business Development Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, and client relationship management within the IT services, software development, or SaaS industry.
As a Sales / Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the complete sales cycle, building long-term client relationships, and contributing to the company’s revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities across various industries.
- Develop strategic plans to target potential clients and decision-makers.
End-to-End Sales Management
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead qualification to proposal submission, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Prepare customized business proposals and presentations based on client requirements.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Explore new markets, industries, and business opportunities for company growth.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retention.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with technical, project delivery, and product teams to develop tailored client solutions.
- Coordinate project requirements and ensure smooth handover after deal closure.
- Maintain ownership of commercial discussions and client communications.
Sales Leadership & Strategic Contribution
- Contribute to sales strategy development and process improvement initiatives.
- Support the implementation of CRM best practices and sales reporting.
- Mentor junior sales professionals and support future sales team growth.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 4–6 years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Previous experience in IT services, software development, digital solutions, or SaaS products is mandatory.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and closing high-value deals.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of software development services, mobile applications, web solutions, and digital products.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar tools.
- Ability to understand client business requirements and propose suitable technology solutions.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
