Bending Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bending Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating bending machines in a manufacturing, production, or metal fabrication environment and possess a strong understanding of machine operation, quality control, and workplace safety procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring bending machinery to produce high-quality components according to production specifications. Attention to detail, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bending machines and related production equipment
• Set up machinery according to production requirements and technical drawings
• Perform machine adjustments to ensure accurate bending and fabrication processes
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality control standards
• Read and interpret production schedules, work orders, and engineering drawings
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues
• Follow health, safety, and manufacturing procedures at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and production team members

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Bending Machine Operator or Machine Operator
• Experience working in manufacturing, production, factory, or industrial environments
• Knowledge of metal fabrication, sheet metal processing, and bending operations
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and production standards
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and safe machine operation
• Ability to read technical drawings and production specifications
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CNC Bending Machines or Press Brake Machines
• Knowledge of industrial production processes
• Experience in fabrication, assembly line operations, and machine maintenance
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices
